10oz Natural Brown Sugar Scrub
Organic Cane Sugar was selected as the exfoliating agent due to it's mild properties. With the occasional cut or abrasion the sugar will not irritate the area like salt scrubs will. Combined with our organic oils the result of your exfoliation and pampering experience will be simply amazing.
We highly recommend using one of our handcrafted soaps prior to exfoliation. After exfoliating simply pat dry your skin and you'll be pleasantly surprised...no body butter or body oil required, you skin will feel amazing, promise you!
All ingredients have superb qualities and here they are:
Organic Cane Sugar
It is a wonderful natural exfoliant that removes dead skin and cellular build-up, allowing fresh, rejuvenated skin to surface. It is also more gentle than salt, and smells and tastes delicious too! It will leave a beautiful glow to your skin and will also help your blood flow better throughout your body, opening the pores of your skin to remove dirt, oils, and bacteria.
Organic, Virgin Coconut Oil
Extracted using a cold-process method, the best benefits of coconut oil are:
- anti-fungal properties.
It is the best option for those who suffer from eczema. It quickly penetrates the skin for a powerful moisturizing and hydrating effect. More benefits of coconut oil include the delay in the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of skin, which normally accompany aging. Coconut oil's antioxidant properties are to thank for that!
Sweet Almond Oil
Obtained from the dried kernels of the almond tree. Includes lots of vitamins including A, B and E. It is light, easily absorbed by the skin and is very nutritious. Benefits include:
- rich source of magnesium
- helps boost the immune system
- a great emollient so that helps with itching and inflammation
- it is a natural sunscreen and can help with sunburn
- especially good for dry, sensitive skin and helpful for eczema and psoriasis.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This is the staple carrier oil for soap making. Naturally, olive oil is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. It has many natural vitamins, including A, D, and K, as well as vitamin E, with vitamin E partly accounts for the anti-aging benefits of olive oil because it helps restore skin smoothness and protects against ultraviolet light. It's also a superb moisturizer; a little goes a long way.
It is found only in plant foods. This includes certain oils, nuts, grains, fruits and wheat germ. It is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is essential for the maintenance of healthy skin. It plays important roles in photoprotection, preventing UV-induced free radical damage to skin. It may also have related anti-inflammatory roles in the skin.
